The room was cosy and it had a shampoo and conditioner, that's cool. The staff was superbly friendly, the beds were lovely. The location of the hotel was very central, close enough to a fast food outlet, the train station and local bars and restaurants. Plus, I was a 10-15 minute walk from Winchester College Independent School.

Had very central location to the cathedral etc. It was also next to the centre of town, rail station and restaurants. The rooms were perfectly clean and new-fashioned and had hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows. There was a nice size.

Came here for 1 night with my relative, everything was good. The studio suite I stayed in was stylish and modern. This accommodation was in the very central location to the cathedral etc. I could drink something at The King Alfred, located 1 km away.

The staff is very very helpful and affable. It has particularly good, marvelous setting, right by Winchester, the center of town, and the restaurant next door.It is a few meters away from The Porterhouse, where you can have dinner.

There are well-appointed rooms with absolutely lovely bathrooms. It has comfortable and magnificent location very close to South Downs Way. The staff is very helpful and responsive, an absolute asset to this the place.

Convenient Location

This place is located right in the middle of everything, surrounded by restaurants and just a stone's throw from the rail station. Plus, it's a quick walk to Dean Garnier Garden. 🌳

Convenient location near the train station, which made getting around super easy. The bed was really comfortable and the room layout was tidy and well thought-out. 😊

I spend 2 nights in Winchester lovely. The studio suite was good-sized and had a hair dryer and an iron. The bed was very clean, plus the bathroom was really lovely. The location was convenient and excellent, really close to old town.

I recently stayed at a conveniently located hotel in Winchester and had a great experience. The room was spacious with a comfortable double bed and fluffy pillows. I loved the thoughtful touch of having charging cables on both sides of the bed for my phone and Kindle. The mini fridge and kettle in the room were very convenient, and I appreciated the abundance of bottled water provided. The modern en-suite bathroom with bathrobes was a pleasant surprise. The best part was the proximity to the train station and the city center, making it easy to explore. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Winchester.

The only minor drawbacks were the busy road outside, which may bother light sleepers, and the slightly tired appearance of the main entrance and communal corridor. However, once in the room, these concerns were quickly forgotten.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and caring, making for a welcoming atmosphere.
